Heyoo.  I haven't log in into DA that much since I been doing 40k miniature painting and gaming.  Nevertheless, it's high time to put that aside to find myself a new hobby of learning to become a Manga Artist.  Why suddenly?  It's just...it's hard to come up with ideas to create a world of my very own manga until now.  I would like to learn certain techniques and development for me as a student.  I learn it's never too late to become an artist, but it's true it's suitable to all ages.  I do have a secondary school medal for being a Top Senior Art Student (2004-2005).  I felt bad I haven't do much drawings for many years for me end up in a state of hopelessness of not being a manga artist, I do now learn it's better that way at least practice.  I would love to share my idea and sketches of my manga universe.  I appreciate if any artists are willingly bring tips, advise, and at least encouragement for me to improve my skills.  I'm currently going to work on at least couple of different characters to sketch as a start and begin to gather every resources to learn to draw and to develop my very own manga style.
Hey there.  It's been many months since I last wrote my monthly journal.   I been doing daily life routine, end up lessen miniature hobby time.  I got myself few cool games; Mortal Kombat X, The Witcher 3, The new Borderlands game collection.  Anyways, I got myself the new edition of the Space Marine Codex; the rules and other updates is quite promising such as new formations and what`s new for each chapter.  I got my week holidays, so I hope to get busy with my miniature work.  I`m still loyal to my Crimson Fists.  I got all arranged, and I`ll start with the first Demi-Battle Company.  Soon, the powerful Librarian Conclave by having a few Librarians.

I haven't did this journal for awhile, since last July.   It's a time of year anew for me trying to get back in a game of doin miniature hobby.  For his month,  I'm on a drawing board for Army Detachments that I need.  I got plenty of tactical squad assembled, but trying to develop my HQ for my Crimson Fists more effective.  I get more stuff to assemble, such as Land Raider, Storm Raven, Scouts, and Imperial Knight.  I was hoping to work it out well and getting back to paint work on these models to make it an eye-popping display in table top gaming.  :)

Well, since I got my bill-payments-free last bi weekly paycheck.  I do a bit of shopping of getting more Sternguards  Veterans Kit and Chapter of Masters set (already combined) as Kantor's Honour Guards, I also got Terminator Armour Librarian and so as two more tactical space marine squad.  I'm figuring out how it works out of their shoulder pad guard either painting gold or red(like Pedro Kantor's).  Also for Librarian, I think using ultramarines colour scheme in most librarians in different chapters is quite overuse, I thought just same colour scheme as Crimson Fist's.
I like to make early month journal anyways.  I'll be turning 27 on the 27th of May yaaeehh(nothing special going on).  So far that there's no luck of selling my Imperial Fists to any of the locals.  I did pointed out it takes hourly for me to do that kind of miniature painting job.  For automotive paint artist is like $100/hour, for tattoo artist is like $50/hour, and thinkin of miniature painting is like around $18-20/hour.  But hey, it's the paint and supplies that is need to pay off, the amount of time of making the models look good, and trying to get extra living.  For the Imperial Fist is like $450 (CAD), including kit purchase, is reasonable price.  Also, the Imperial Guard set is almost there for to sell as well.  I was trying to find a suitable package that works well to ship the models.  For my own models,  I decided to name my new guardsmen, Rynn's World Crimson Brigade. For the guardsmen I showed ya, thinkin of having dark red gloves(just like crimson fists);  for their shoulder pad's shoulder symbols will be red Cadian gate with crimson fist in the center instead of the circle, and other side is horizontal red with regiment number or squad number in it.
So far, I did see the new Guardsmen models, makes me get one of those. However, I still got my own models to go through.  I lately workin on first set of Imperial Fist and one of the locals have interest of getting it for reasonable price (which done by hourly).  Soon I will complete the third squad set of default(8 th cadian colour scheme) guardsmen and will be on sale (based on the purchase for the kit, cleaning, assemble, and amount of work I put into); it'll be Platoon Command Squad, 3 Infantry Squad, and Commissar Yarrick.  I use to plan to build these as my own, but decided to sell them.  I hope that my commission business get some people attention of seeing my work.

It's been awhile I got PS4.  I haven't played much of battlefield 4(except campaigns).  If any of ya have both PS4 and BF4, feel free to add me(it's under the same account name, Cydarius and so as same for xbox360).  It just..I been haven`t play online with anyone for a long time.  Most players are cool and all the rest are being both amateurish and douches(that`s a problem).  Probably best to play co-op games(quite comfortable and fun) like Borderlands 2 on 360.  So feel free. :)

Yoz, wish you all have a nice holidays.  Lookin forward to take a look of what I'm getting under them presents.  I planning to buy, painting, and re-sell the model; starting with Imperial Fists and then Dreadknight.  How it goes the price is that it takes time, paints, and efforts to make the models look good(plus the price of buying the model set myself to re-work deducted the percent of the spare parts of the set).  The commission work can be arrange by just quick paint for gaming.  Hope it can be work out on my commission business during the beginning of the '14.
So far, I felt down lately of thought that the Elves I did is worth $150-$160 of double the time and effort of making them look good.  However, my commissioner says that we agreed $80 for each pack.  Tell me, is well-painted 10 models set is worth $80, 12 model set for $80, 14 model set is $80 as well?  All I can say I'm no longer making verbal agreements or dealing with cheapskates.  For Local, it isn't going well for making commission which I realized.  I was trying to come up of something of making well-painted models to sell.  But if I sell the well-paint model(will be) internationally, I will need a cheap model foam of caring the models well of mailing.  I actually set-up my own website, as a gallery/  Here's the link, caststormreliquary.com/ .  Let me know if there's something that make my commission good and worth of my effort(also of improving my site), I appreciate it.

So far, I got both Commissar Yarrick and Phimaris Psyker that I will be having them in same colour scheme as my 751st Cadian. I also started workin on the third squad of 751st and the 110th Shadow Corp.  I also got couple more commission jobs, which is workin on two squads of Sisters of Avelorn, and I'll leave chimera for last(since the sisters are easy and good enough for me to work on).
For having a commission with Jadenkaiba, he's still working on the first pic of my second set(which takes a while for him work through of my set).

My new interest, well, I'm now into Magic: The Gathering.  I been in state of solitude at home for too long, it'll be best for me go out, to do some learning strategy(I been mainly do labour work), and to get socialize with people.

Good news, I got myself air brush/ compressor set.  I was giving test run the frostheart phoenix(around the wings); also, it's good for the cutting the painting time when air brush to base paint and will try to make a camouflage on my Leman Russ Tank.  I was setting up a website which will be my own miniature gallery(personal as a start instead of business).  Lately, I was planning to set-up a heavy duty Imperial Army(The Order of the Imperial Keepers or whatever I called them all together).  It'll be 4 Space Marine Chapters(Imperial Fists, Ultramarines, Salamanders, ??? chapters) and 1 custom chapter(my main Space Marine forces) and 2 Imperial Guards regiment(Cadian 527th Regiment and Catachans).  For the 4 chapters will not be big, just the basic standard choice(like two HQs, 3 troops, 2 fast attacks, 1-2 elites, and 1-3 heavies each chapters).  I'll show the the preview of frostheart phoenix and my custom Space Marines.

Well, I manage to finish one model for commission(Chaos Chariot) and will be workin on Frostbite Phoenix.  I was planning to get one of the air compressor and  air brush to make the models look good with a air brush effect instead of regular brush.  I was a bit slow, but will be working on the second squad of the guardsmen.

For Commission with JK, I'm glad that my OC solo is done.  I'll wait for it since JK will work and finish with the others.  The pic, that he'll be doin, will be the last pic of my first set and more will come for a second set.

What I'm workin on this time of month is 6 trolls models.  My client want them represent in chaos colours.  I planned to have 4 regular chaos (Khorne, Nurgle, Tzeentch, and Slaanesh).  The other two will be the pink screamer skin and regular flesh skin.  Once I've completed those sets, I'll be working on the Chaos Lord on chariot and then Chimera from Warhammer Fantasy.  For my own minis, I got the first squad done and wokring on the next squad.  I keep on making up to like 1000 or more through summer and lookin forward to get couple of the new rule books which I got my eyes on.

For my friend Jakenkaiba,  I been doing commissions with him for a year now.  I had come up somethin special in mind that will make him well-known enough and couple of ideas as well.  I really love his artwork, like seriously.

Well, I did a few miniatures for commissions.  I getting few more squads and heavy weapons team of my own Imperial Guards.  I seen the new releases of the updates army that fights for the greater good, Tau Empire.  I wonder which army is updated next.  For my guardsmen, I think I'm halfway with my first squad.  It'll be so beyond awsome with my entire men fully painted(with some detail work).

Even it's early to post up monthly journal, I like to put it up anyways.  So far, that the blue-metallic paint goes well with infantry; however it has some disadvantages.  The chemical of the paints can easily wreck the chainmail colour with few or more paint brush strokes on the models (the citadel paint); not only that, I realized that the blue metallic paint can build up on the..let's just say for example on the shoulder pad of the Grey knight with letters, once I base air brush on these it build up stuff and can cover over the letter which unable to do the paint on the letters. Another example is that to air brush it on large model vechicles, that can make it sticky and also can cause a build-up.  So all I can say is that the development of using the metallic colour on my army....was an utterly FAILURE.  I took some time-out for awhile (mostly playing SKYRIM).  I was thinkin to start somethin fresh, like to show some improvement of my skills since I got the hang of Citadels painting style.   I was going to do the regular regiments of Imperial Guards, while I trying to figure out to develop a new colour scheme for the Imperial Conservators and it doesn't involve in metallic paints...it'll take me time to some experiments for the new colour scheme.  Since I was doing the Guardsmen, I was thinkin of doing about say 5 or 7 different Space Marine Chapters.  I don't want to get the entire army, I was having each of them in basics.  Such as having like 1 HQ(Captain and his Squads) 2 Troops (regular squads) and about few vechs(Drop pod, Dreadnought, gunships, etc) for each chapters.  Well, I don;t want to strain myself, but I like to show improvements both the Hobby store(where I spend time painting and playing) and post up pics here in this Deviantart. Oh..btw..since I got 2000 views, I like to thank you all very much.

So far, I did finish work on the Blood Angels that I finish for a guy in a nearby city.  I did a set a full squad of Space Marines(which I'll be working on and re-selling) as a trade.  I'm through with trade....that I'll be doing a serious commission work, which I develop a bill and commission track sheets in a Microsoft office '10 program.  The name of the solo commission business will be called Caststorm Reliquary.  For the set of Space Marines I'm working will be a start, and I pulled out the remains of Guardsmen(which is a full squad set and also be working on).  I was thinkin by everytime that I did for a customers and/or working a set myself to sell off to anyone, will be posted up to my gallery in this site.  I got advices of selling them off on Ebay, been thinkin about...but the probelm is by mailing, such as having a proper foam piece or something that put the miniatures inside and send them safety.  It take time to do that; but for now, I have to do Locally as a start.
